Medicare Part C Plans are Medicare plans that will cover everything that Part A and Part B of Medicare covers. Your private insurance agent carries the Medicare Part C plans as long as they are approved by Medicare.

Does this Medicare Part C plan include prescription drug coverage?

The Medicare Part C plan includes prescription drug coverage with their plan. If you already have prescription drug coverage you will be able to pick a plan that does not offer it. There are several Medicare Part C plans available and you will need to research this to make sure that you get the plan that is best for you and your family.

Can I go to any doctor or specialist that I choose under the Medicare Part C plan?

You will not be able to go to any doctor or specialist. The Medicare Part C plans will provide you with a list of their network doctors, specialists and facilities. You will have to choose one of their doctors, specialists and facilities to have your additional medical expenses covered under this plan.

If you are out of your service area they will still cover you in the event of an emergency or urgent care services. You are eligible to have Medicare Part C plan if you already have Medicare Part A and Part B. You also need to live in the service area. You cannot have the end-stages of Renal Disease. You will need to understand this Medicare Part C plan before you decide to enroll.
